We are celebrating two years of Condatis! Your transformation partner in bespoke external identity solutions that streamline your customer’s digital journeys.
What a year!
The continuing saga of the pandemic rages on, but it hasn’t stopped us from delivering quality solutions and strategies for our clients. At Condatis, we’ve gone from strength to strength. While it’s been a tough year for everyone, our team have buckled down, ensuring no interruptions impacted our services. Our developers have upskilled and continued training hard to ensure we’re always in the know when it comes to the latest updates in identity and Microsoft Azure solutions. We’ve continued implementing the latest technologies, delving into new markets with our latest solutions, growing our partner network and nailing down on our security standards and achievements as a company. It’s been quite the year so let’s look back at our accomplishments over the year!
Making headway with decentralized technologies
After deploying the first decentralized COVID-19 rapid response solution for NHS staff movement, we did not stop! Since its deployment, decentralized technology has lifted off, and we’ve been part of the movement. The COVID-19 Digital Staff Passport has been shortlisted for the 2021 HSJ ‘Connecting Services and Information’ Award. Microsoft named us one of their go-to partners for integrating their hottest addition to the decentralized stack: Microsoft Azure AD Verifiable Credentials.
This might not be a football team, but wow, do we have a strong squad! From our customer-facing star players to the star players behind the scenes, we’re winning all over the pitch!
This last year has seen several changes being made to the Condatis team, we’ve said goodbye to some fantastic people, but we’ve brought in some real experts. The togetherness and mission to bring value to our clients have never been stronger. With new dynamics across teams and upskilling through various certifications and training programmes – we’re putting ourselves in pole position to meet all your identity and access management requirements. We’ve added experts across the board, from DevOps, Software development and testing, Human Resources, Business Development, Marketing, to even building out a Product team!

ISO: 27001 and 9001
We renewed our ISO 27001 information security standard certification for the third year in a row. The standard recognises our compliance and efforts to consistently deliver solutions based on information security best practices within our customer delivery and internal operations. We didn’t stop at ISO 27001; we kept going and added ISO 9001 last May. This achievement means we meet specific and detailed requirements for a quality management system (QMS). The QMS system meets our aims to deliver the highest quality to our customers. Our customer satisfaction comes first, and applying QMS processes helps us ensure the smooth running of business operations and products and services.
When celebrating our success, a large proportion has been down to our wonderful team, and also extends out to our brilliant industry partnerships! Across the entirety of year 2, we have built relationships and worked on some inspiring projects like the COVID-19 Digital Staff Passport with our partners. We have continued to provide services for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) throughout the year. We’ve also continued our providing value through our work with the UK Hydrographic Office. As for more recent news, we’ve joined up with techUK, the UK’s technology trade association. Alongside techUK, we believe strongly in providing a better future for everyone through new technologies. We’ll work closely to empower the UK technology scene for now and in the future.
Our partner work doesn’t stop there! Since becoming one of four Microsoft gold partners selected to implement Azure AD Verifiable Credentials, we’ve already actively extended our Student Passport solution for The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
It’s always a good sign when our apprenticeship gets noticed by the Deputy First Minister. Earlier in the year, John Swinney met with some of our team to celebrate apprentices and how we are meeting our aims to deliver a better future through apprenticeship programmes. We are delighted that our programmes have gained attention and are benefiting the fantastic apprentices themselves and are so proud of our team of Condatis and Sitekit mentors.
Within the last year at Condatis, some of our teammates are skilled mentors and have supported a few of our Foundation Level Apprentices studying towards software development certifications; we couldn’t be prouder! We’ve also had our very own staff member graduate from their QA Scotland Digital Marketing program, leading to a promotion as Marketing Assistant. We followed on by onboarding our latest star HR Apprentice who has recently completed her QA Scotland Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration. Well done to our apprentices and mentors!
Green shoots, new markets, emerging technologies, new product?
We’ve sown the seeds, and the green shoots are coming through. Condatis is growing all across the shop! Our staff are upskilling and reskilling through certification and training programmes. Our team is growing in size, and we’re breaking into new markets, continuing to support organisations in streamlining their customer’s digital journeys. We have been at the forefront of decentralized identity, particularly in the UK, and have recently branched out globally. We’ve kept our heads down, developing our expertise, learning and evolving. At this point in our company’s journey, we are ready to bring our product out into the world of decentralized identity. Are you ready for the future of digital identity?
