ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification update
With trust being one of our core values, quality and information security are paramount in everything that we do at Condatis. Following the completion of a recent external auditor visit, we are pleased to announce that we have successfully achieved re-certification of ISO 9001 for a new 3-year cycle and continued certification of ISO 27001. Maintaining certification to these internationally recognised standards demonstrates our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest level of security, quality, and consistency in all aspects of our business operations.
John Yau, our Chief Information Officer, explains the continuing relevance of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications for Condatis, “Whilst we have the constant of the ISO standards providing the benchmark for management, it is important to note that the efficacy of quality and security management relies on us operating a management system where we are continuously monitoring, adapting, and evolving our processes. The focus is therefore very much on continual improvement and is further driven by the need to adapt security controls within an evolving cybersecurity landscape.”
Cyber Essentials Plus certified
Further cementing our focus on information security, we have recently received the Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Demonstrating our proactive approach to cybersecurity and our commitment to protecting our systems, data, and customers from prevalent cyber threats in today’s digital landscape, this achievement can provide peace of mind, knowing you’re in the right hands.
John Yau, Chief Information Officer at Condatis, commented, “Achieving this certification demonstrates conformance of our technical cybersecurity controls to UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) standards. It is one of the requirements that is stipulated within UK Public Sector procurement frameworks.”
Saltire Scholar programme
Our team members are a top priority at Condatis, and we are always on the lookout for exceptional talent. We know how competitive the market is and how valuable hands-on experience is, so we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of talent and fostering innovation.
We look forward to welcoming a Saltire Intern who will soon be joining our software development team as part of the Saltire Scholar Programme. This prestigious programme is one of the many ways to provide talented young individuals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in their chosen field, helping to kickstart their career. We have previously participated in the QA Scheme for Marketing, HR and Business Administration roles, and we are continuously looking to engage with further programmes.
Welcoming a Saltire Intern to our team not only enriches our company culture but also allows us to benefit from fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that these talented individuals can bring.
Future Strides
This year, we will renew our emphasis on our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Group, with a number of internal team members of varying levels working to build a CSR and DE&I plan that is authentic to our business and focuses on building awareness and taking action where we can.
In addition to Mental Health champions and First Aiders, we are enhancing our commitment to colleague wellbeing by partnering with Able Futures, the government mental health service. This service will provide our colleagues with 24/7 access to guidance and resources from qualified mental health professionals.
